gabriel snow.
Most everyone knows the story of Gabriel that the bible tells, that he was the archangel responsible for telling Zechariah and the Virgin Mary about the respective births of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ. And it is told that Gabriel will blow his trumpet sounding the Lord’s return to Earth to be among his flock just before the ascension to heaven by all the true believers when the world comes to an end. He is first mentioned in the Book of Daniel when he appeared to him to tell him of the impending arrival of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. But what the bible does not tell you is who Gabriel is and what he has and has not done since his messages were sent and waiting for the Lords return.
Though in the Bible he is described as a fierce looking man he is nothing of the sort. He has soft skin, blue eyes, long mane-like hair and is quite humble. He knows his place in the world and beyond and stays in his lane not wanting to ruffle any feathers – pun intended. He is never described as having wings though he does, he has large white feathered wings that span double his height in length and when at full stance that is when he does appear to be a bit fierce looking as they encapsulate the area around him. Gabriel is a man of honor and respect and revered with a very important role in Gods plan for his creatures and has taken this role seriously. He does not and will not forget what his true reasoning for being on Earth.
While also a great truth teller he is also tasked with answering prayers, which is why he has chosen to be closer to the people he is supposed to be helping so he can have a better understanding of what truly needs to be answered and what is simply someone trying to pray for guidance that will not be understood or followed through on. He also has a keen eye for being able to tell when someone is in disbelief of what the truth is even when the proof is right in front of their eyes, like Elisabeth in the bible who did not believe she would bear children due to her age and infertility and Mary knowing that she was a virgin and that it would be a very unbelievable story for anyone to believe but eventually they both accepted their truths and trusted Gabriel.
Having been on Earth for many years he has experienced love and loss much like the humans he is helping out. He has seen the best and the worst that mankind has to offer and has taken note on everything that he has seen for when the rapture happens. While he has been a significant part of a few miraculous births he himself has never had children and remains single, never married. He has come close a few times to both starting a family and becoming a married man he has stepped aside from that because of both his important job at hand and the fact that nephalims are highly frowned upon in heaven. They are seen as mistakes and cast off to never have a role in heaven and he would not be able to handle his child not having a place in heaven beside him.
Within the last century he has found himself in Portland, Oregon which has a high volume of supernatural creatures. He knows and he has seen them with his own eyes. He works in telecommunications where he works from home answering phone calls regarding trouble shooting computers. He has learned to adapt and overcome the changes that society has had to offer and relishes at the fact that he has become more human while still maintaining his angelic stature. Though he is humble he has checked himself out online to see what has been said through the years and varying religions about him and his story. Not a lot has come up but what he has seen thus far is not far off from the truth of the matter.
He chose to call himself Gabriel Snow because Snow is considered white and pure but it is also cold and each snowflake is different, and of course Gabriel is his name and he wanted to make things as simple as possible for him. He has blended in quite nicely with society and hopes to never have to reveal himself while knowing that when the Lord returns he will have to reveal who he is and sound the trumpet of his arrival.
